Hey Guys, welcome to SCAZ Tech I'm Salman Chowdhury Abir and today we''ll be reviewing the TT eSports MEKA PRO Let's go! *Snaps fingers* The first thing that you can visually notice is that the TT eSports MEKA PRO is relatively larger than the POSEIDON Z. But why is it so? Well, the main reason for this is because an extra layer of thick plastic has been used to make the keyboard a tad different in terms of build quality https://jatekok7.com/unlocked-gigabyte-marines/. Let me show you why. TT eSports POSEIDON Z had a small problem if you applied a bit of extra pressure, the keyboard would start flexing a little bit. This extra layer of plastic ensures that it won't flex so easily I am unable to flex this even after applying a lot of force. BTW I am from Chittagong So it rains here all the time.
One or two drops of rain got on to the keyboard I guess Just DEAL WITH IT But for a mid range keyboard The build quality of the TT eSports https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esports MEKA PRO is quite solid On the back of the keyboard we can see that it has 5 rubber grips which ensures that regardless of how intensely you're using this keyboard the keyboard will not wiggle underneath and two raisers that helps you adjust the height but there's one negative to this.
Where the POSEIDON Z had a cable cutout for easier routing for some reason was not included in the MEKA PRO in my opinion, this is a bad design choice by TT eSports the reason being the MEKA PRO is already a bit larger than the POSEIDON Z so including this was not an issue at all.
Now moving on to the main heroes The Cherry MX Keys Yes, TT eSports has finally realized that their business strategy of using KL switches was not working out at all and they have gone back to Cherry Keys and for those of you who are not too familiar with mechanical switches this is what you need to know KL switches are just a "Wannabe" version of Cherry MX switches it tries to emulate everything the Cherry MX keys are capable of but it can't do it efficiently enough not just in terms of performance in terms of sound there is a difference between KL switches and Cherry MX switches This is a sound test from which you can hear and judge for yourselves. So, the keys are good. But what about the lighting? Well. unfortunately in this case only RED is available So RED is the only color you get. BUT It has plenty of lighting effects, that are PRETTY COOL. Let me show you. The first effect that you'll notice is breathing. Followed by KEYSTROKE. Wave Effect. Ripple. And finally, Matrix. Now if the lighting effect alone isn't good enough for you...
Then you can use the extra key caps set included with the TT eSports MEKA PRO to achieve a different look. Along with these extra keys a key remover is provided with which, you can replace any of the keys with ease.
